You make a company half a million and you get $100

ah, welcome to the working world sweatheart. I worked at a place that would tell us the daily profits for each department in our store and company wide. We saw how much the company was making, the owner lives next door to Bill Gates. And there was one woman that had worked there for 13 years. She was making $8.40 an hour. that was the payscale cap for the company. There were also 5 others that were there for 10 years. I have no idea why, and 7 years later, she is still there bustin her ass for $1 above minimum wage while the owner vacations in Greece for 2 months.
Tell me about it they live the life while the workers bust their asses off for nothing, the CEO of this company every time he goes shopping he doesn't spend less that $6,000
Man that sucks. But you know what, if you look for $ reward only, then its not worth it. But there are more than $, the knowledge you gained, the customers you know, etc etc. those counts. Well, I made quite a lot for the company, but still based on the past 4 years of salary increment, it will take me 5 more years to reach my previous salary!!!! Man that sucks too! I hate to think of it this way. But the other side of the story is that I know many good people and great connection and I love stationery and gift. I'm sure these unquantifiable gains are helpful for my future...... except that I'm getting older :P
wow 5 more years to reach your previous salary! wow!, well I see you point there and you're so right! only thing I can't see myself gaining anything from this.If I was maybe it would be worth it. I mean once in a while you meet a good customer or such but 99% of the time everyone is an A**hole . But they are right when they say once you find something you love you will never work a day in your life, lol I hate this so I'm working poop! :-( and hey old Asian proverb the older you get the wiser you become ( heck that's not even how it goes!)
Remember... there is always the sperm bank....lol
